Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's the US National Basketball Association playoffs, and the Utah Jazz were up against the Houston Rockets. The 7-game series started in Houston, and the Rockets won the first two games. Then they came back to Salt Lake City, and the Jazz won the next two. Houston, Rockets win. Salt Lake, Jazz win. Game 7 was back in Houston, and the home team had won every game. So the Jazz managed to win this last one, and will go on to the next level of the playoffs.

I wanted the Rockets to win, because I always felt sorry for Jeff Van Gundy (the Rockets's coach). He got no respect in New York (it was the Time of Jordan for God Sake), and he looks like the sad little puppydog from Hannah-Barbara.

Michael Jordan is of course considered the best basketball player ever, but some years ago he tried baseball and failed miserably. He then returned to lead the Chicago Bulls to two straight championships over the Utah Jazz. So, joke

1) If Michael Jordan could hit a baseball, the Utah Jazz would be two-time world champions.

Some years ago, Jazz owner Larry Miller (the largest car-dealership owner in Utah and creater of the new sportspark/racetrack outside Salt Lake City), in an effort to keep expenses down, set up key players John Stockton and Karl Malone in their own dealership. So, joke
