GeForce 8800 ultra comes out in ten more days

Just few more days till the Geforce 8800 ultra comes out at only $829 per video card ... http://www.dailytech.com/NVIDIA+Anno...rticle7130.htm

829$ dollars? Sounds like a typical office system. What harddisk size does it have, and how much RAM? And the CPU is a dual core I assume? Is the monitor and keyboard included? Onboard sound? for that price I expect onboard graphics as well, certainly no separate graphics board... Any OEM software included? I hope it still offers XP instead of Vista?

For $829, it should have everything that skybird said plus do your laundry!:p :p

It won't do any of that but it will heat your room during cold winter nights! So you save on the energy bill. Well, it will heat your room in the summer and spring aswell. But you can also use it as an oven to bake any meal small enough to fit inside your cabinet.

As far as laundry is concerned, no, it doesn't do any washing but the hot air coming out of your coolers will do a good job at drying things!

This is what makes the different between people and people

there are those how wants thing and don't give a sh*t how much it cost a.s.o

then it's those who wait a couple of month or a year and get the same thing a lot cheaper.

A year from now this graphic card will go for maybe 150 -200 dollars

utter rip-off just a gtx with better clocks you could oc a gtx to the same speeds. the price hasnt dropped on the 8800's for 6 months due to having no competition so theres little to show that the ulrta will 1/4 in value in 12 months.
