Newbie Question
 

Hello everyone,

I would like to know how I can set the course for my submarine. I believe you use the course plotter tool, where is this?

Also, are there any online manuals out there for SH4 amateurs, the in-game tutorials are not helpful? I was quite proficient in SH3.

Try hovering your mouse pointer over the buttons on the bottom of the screen you should see a button which has a line with an X at the end of it..use that to plot your course.

menu orders bar under click sextent,center yellow lite,must be in map screen to plot.

Its amazing really how often this "basic" question comes up.

Makes one wonder why did they change it ?

I'm very new to this game myself, I've never played the series at all. But after reading this forum and watching a few of the video tutorials some of the memebers have made I'm getting the hang of it.

I highly recommend looking at all the ones on manual TDC targeting, they are very well done and extremly helpful.
