Lose your pants and be happy forever!

The $67 Million Pants.

That's just for half a law suit. Imagine what the sum would be for the jacket, too. :p

Read about this yesterday afternoon, this is just absolutely ridiculous. The man should be disbarred from any and all capacity in the legal arena.

My poor profession does itself another favor.

Alas...

It's his mentality that's got us into this "PC gone mad" world. And what about the people who represent (and therfore encourage) these people?

Because of them we can't ride on the backs of dustcarts, first aiders can be sued for helping people, a burglar can sue me if he injures himself whilst breaking in to my house.

Pity we can't sue these people for the mess they've made of this world.

Reminds me of the old Scottish joke:

Q. What do you wear under your kilt?

A. Your girlfriend's lipstick.

Heibges 05-03-07 04:33 PM

Another old joke:

Students who get A's in Law School become Law Professors

Students who get B's ih Law School become Corporate Lawyers

Students who get C's in Law School become Defense Lawyers or DA's.

Students who get D's in Law School become Judges. :)

Just saw this on the news a few minutes ago. WOW and there are kids that don't have decent clothes to wear or food to eat.

I saw him walk with a smileing and smug look on his face.

I'D LIKE TO WALK UP AND KICK HIM IN THE SEAT OF HIS RICH PANTS :arrgh!:

GSpector 05-03-07 05:09 PM

Wow, He's a Judge?

I hope the Judge that sits on this case in June demands that the Cleaners hand over the pants and denies the charges against them and ends that part of the lawsuit. I do hope Jin and Soo Chung and their son are counter suing and the judge triples the amount and awards punitive damages for emotional distress and starts process to disbar Mr Pearson.

Heibges 05-03-07 05:31 PM

My family was in drycleaning.

Drycleaners get sued...a lot.

Usually not for millions, though.

FIREWALL 05-03-07 05:42 PM

Talk about wanting headlines.

Heibges 05-03-07 05:53 PM

Dude is lucky he's not on Judge Judy.

She would yell at him, "No, no, no, no, no, no...this is OUTRAGEOUS, Sir!
