Having attacked a convoy, I followed it to take care of damaged straglers. Found a large tanker inmobile, took it out of its misery with one torpedo.

Escort came after me but turned around the moment I submerged.

Caught up with convoy from behind, needing 10K to get 100K. Spotted a large freighter and pursued on the surface. Fired a magnetic steamer from 2,300 meters. It slowed the ship.

Annoying destroyer showed up, forced me to submerge and tried to rain DCs on my parade. Finally it gave up. At dawn I spotted my target dead in the water. Approached it submerged , surfaced and finished it with the deckie.

Heading home to Willi with 0 torps. :smug:

The DDs could not get a good fix on me when depth charging. However, when cleaning up straglers, they appeared twice out of nowhere less than 2,000 meters away. I had to do a bit of wiggling at flank speed to get away from that first, lethal DC shower near the surface.
