Ship ID book vrs 1.2.
 

Is something missing ? My Ship ID book only has warships ? No merchants?
That normal for Sub School missions?

Dont know about school missions as I havent done any but...

you can click the book which will change the flags. The merchants are in the book with no flag.

When you hit the N key to bring up the recognition manual, notice the arrows to the right and left of the rectangle where the name is shown. There is one manual for each nation's military vessels, and one for all merchants without differentiation between nationality.

When I firt played SH3 I thought the same thing. Then I opened the guide and clicked the left arrow, there they were, merchants in all their beauty.

Then the problem came that now that I can ID the ship, I forget to check the flag.....Had a few green marks on the map from that patrol.
