No radar at all now -- bug?
 

Hi All,

I had radar with range lines etc. after patch 1.1 and 1.2, but now I can not find radar on any sub.

Anyone else have this problem?

What subs? What years? :hmm: Did you start a career before patching and did you make sure to reload from in base?

I only had the game for less than a day before 1.1 was released and was too wrapped up in the sub school at the time. However I do know that 1.1 and 1.2 I haven't had radar range lines at all either. Running latest video drivers for my 8800 too.

I stopped even trying to work out the radar bug weeks ago. You load radar into the boat in the equipment screen, launch, and poof no radar button.

The devs are so kind to offer us this "undocumented feature", are they not?

This is the kind of thing that is unhelpful, what might help the OP get his problem solved, my post, or yours?

Something else I forgot to post was there is no screen for SD radar. If your boat is only equipped with SD radar (which is the only radar available at the start of the war) you'll only get contact updates on the nav map. However, when SJ radar comes available you'll be able to access a working radar station.

So thats why mine doesnt work:lol:
