Sheryl Crow calls for limit on loo paper

Quote:

Singer Sheryl Crow has said a ban on using too much toilet paper should be introduced to help the environment. Crow has suggested using "only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required".

Pardom I like to get myself clean. :smug:
And there is no way I am going to shake her hand.

Oh the jokes that will come around now.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What does she suggest to her fellow women concering, you know, that time of the month, nudge nudge wink wink say no more.:p

For us men, biodegradable condoms also???

Eating sleeves and toilet paper rationing. Boy, Sheryl Crow really is serious about conserving national resources while she drives around in that biodiesel bus.

What you don't see is the three tractor trailers, four buses, and six cars that make up her entourage following behind the bus.

One square? That better be freaking dodeca-ply!

I see August has spotted her flaw. :yep:

Sheryl Crow promotes bottom wiping 'army style' -

1) take one square of toilet paper and fold in half.
2) tear out a small semicircle from the middle of the fold and put aside.
3) insert the digit of your preference through the hole you have just made in your sheet of paper.
4) do the 'business' with said extremity and when satisfied pull the piece of paper back off your finger, removing any 'collected matter', and discard.
5) use that itty-bitty bit of paper you put aside in step two to clean the **** from under your fingernail.

Bob's your uncle, or maybe that should be Sargent Major?

Don't forget the hearty clap on the back of someone you don't particularly like to dislodge any remaining bits of poo.

I think 'jumping the shark' might be the appro phrase here.

I bet she's got lots of skid marks in her nickers.

Now you know why Lance Armstrong dumped (pun intended) her.

I've heard this phrase often lately and find it amusing. The Fonzi element anyway.
I almost used it myself yesterday. My concern is that it is nothing more than a PC way of ending a discussion on this forum when an individual has grown tired and has nothing more to contribute( the moment of 'jumping the shark'). That is not neccessarily the case for everyone.

For those unfamiliar with the phrase:

Tchocky 04-24-07 11:57 AM

It's used in reference to celebrities, nothing PC about it......

Did you read the wiki? I wonder if you ever bother to read the posts of others. ( My touche moment )

Some have broadened its use to simply describe any decline in appeal for the subject in question, without requiring a significant "jump the shark" moment

I wonder where you're getting the PC part from. There's context here too, not got very much to do with forum discussions. just curious

The term has also evolved to describe other areas of pop culture, including movie series, music, acting celebrities, or authors for whom a drastic change was seen as the beginning of the end. These changes are often attempts to attract their fans' waning attention with over-the-top statements or increasingly overt appeals to sex or violence. Some have broadened its use to simply describe any decline in appeal for the subject in question, without requiring a significant "jump the shark" moment
