Noob question?
 

Hi guys, just started SH4, installed the patches, doing subschool but can't seem to get the manual hydrophone to work ... was easy in SH3 , click till where to listen and done, but i have no idea how it works now.
Anyone care to tell me?

And in external cam. i see the boat move very shaky is that a 1.2 bug?

Sure,

F8 for sonar. Then Use HOME and END keys to turn the Array. Use the Ping switch per bearing.

The shaky external views is probaly low frame rate if you have all the options turned on in the graphics settings

ctrl + F8 to check out your frame rates. Does sound like a fps issue:yep:

Well hydrophone seems to work :up: .... and i've got about 35 fps in the 1st subschool mission while watching my boat .... sounds a little meager for my system i think or does sh4 need more?
(working in 1024x768 with medium settings, in 1152x864 it's around 30 fps)
