No ComSubPac feedback?
 

I had already noticed that while comsubpac fills my diary with lots of contacts and war news, it never replies to my informations about my current status:hmm: I just sunk a Mogami class cruiser (BTW playing at 100% realism, so that's full credit for it) and after surfacing and reporting...nothing. Not a single "well done", "Good boy", "I want a son from you" or anything like that. Not even a "Be more agressive" :arrgh!: !

Am I the only one to be ignored by comsubpac??:-?

Well the other night I sent in a contact report on a medium-size task force I ran across, within a few minutes of sending the report I got a msg from ComSubPac ordering me to engage the TF. So it seems they DO listen, if you send something important enough!

Can't say I miss the "Be more agressive" msgs from BdU - I mean hey, I just sunk 60k tons and they want me to "be more agressive" :o

I should say! Better that they're silent than ever having to read THAT one again :dead:

Contact reports work really great in this game. SitRep on the other hand....

Just last night I had made an attack on a convoy and sunk one ship. After the DDs left, I set ahead flank to go after them again. Once I could see them, I sent in a contact report so other subs in the area could help out.

COMSUBPAC told me that destroyers were primary targets so that other subs could have a turkey shoot. So I steamed up all ahead flank right up their whazoo until the escorts realized they picked up another ship in their formation. Once they started firing at me I crash dove and headed right towards one of them at flank. The other was madly steaming up at my 6, but he wouldn't make it in time.

Long story short, 2 dds to the bottom and a clear convoy for other subs in the area!:up:
