SUBSIM Radio Room Forums - [REL] Fixed FreeCam

I find it irritating to keep switching between numlock on/off too have the full use of the freecam view on my keypad, So I came up with this fix.
Since I have noway to post a new Commands.cfg I'll give instruction on how to use the below changes.
This file is located in Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific / Data / Cfg / Commands.cfg < Can edit in notepad

Manual: ( Do this INPORT B4 MISSION )
1: Make a backup of ur Commands.cfg
2: Copy the below text From [Cmd70] to Key5=0xb1,Rs,"" < [Cmd70] to [Cmd107]
3: Open Commands.cfg with notepad
4: HighLight from [Cmd70] to Key5=0xb1,Rs,"" < [Cmd70] to [Cmd107]
5: Paste the new text
6: Save - Done.

If Using a MOD that uses the Commands.cfg:
1: Find out from the maker of the MOD if he/she alters the FREE CAM entries if not proceed
2: Uninstall ur MOD an alter the Commands.cfg as in the Manual instruction above in your MODS folder.
3: ReInstall the MOD
4: Done
NOTE: If the MOD ur using alters the Commands.cfg you'll have to work it out with the MOD owner!

Making your own MOD that's compatible with JSGME
1: Make a folder in your MODS folder an name it anything you like, I used FreeCamFix
2: Make a sub folder named Data an a subfolder in the Data folder called Cfg so you'll have: Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific / MODS / FreeCamFix / Data / Cfg
3: Now copy the original Commands.cfg an place it in Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific / MODS / FreeCamFix / Data / Cfg Folder
4: Follow the Manual instructions above from 2 thru 6 in your copy of the Commands.cfg in your MODS folder an save.
5: Use JSGME to install this MOD.

NOTE: Sometime you'll keep moving forward but it's not as bad as SH3
If this happens just start moving forward, start moving FAST forward then slow forward then STOP, DON'T PREES ANY KEYS an this will stop it most time.
If the above doesn't work just ALT + TAB TO DESKTOP THEN BRING THE GAME BACK UP.
