Broken Sonar?
 

Alright i've been doing some testing with the active sonar. It seems that when i use the sonar ping i get major variations in ranging, up to a whole 500m range difference. This is when i do it myself through the sonar station. note that im using metric settings. i also tried imperial.

i also tried using the command to get the range using the button at the bottom while aiming at my designated target using the periscope. in wich it gives me a number rounded to the nearest 10m. so i click "send to TDC". however this number is different than the number he just reported. sometimes off by 100-200m?

is ranging working right? im trying to be as precise as possible, so i can use the nomograph to calculate speed since the stopwatch is broken [i prefer this method anyways]
