Cheers man that does the trick half the way.
The problem is how to save this stuff. When i put the graphics (transport lanes, airplane zones etc) it is treated as part of the "MAP"...basically "NEW" coastlines and little "atolls" are created based on the graphics I have done (sorry no screenshot) it does not show up as Lines and Symbols/Text basically. Now there is a mod like this for SH3 called "Background map" and it looks like the "color" of the graphics is very dark...i am not sure that has something to do with it? If anyone knows the trick here I would be a very happy chappy :p as the graphics is done based on the original "folded map in the game case" and as we can't make a pull down map (not as of yet anyway) I thought this would be 2nd best. I think the clue here is to understand how the .RAW works... |

Cheers man. But how is it that this works for SH3? Do you think its that different?. I mean the 4320_2160.RAW looks exactly the same in SH3 as in SH4.
When I open this SH3 MOD "Background map" it has the "4320_2160.RAW" but with all the ship lanes, names and stuff in gray, but it don't affect the map as it seem to do in SH4. That's why I thought this would work. Would it not be possible to create a color in the color table that is not used by the map for e.g. only thinking loud. |
