SH4. Torpedo Bomber Attack ...

Hi, All.
Approximately one year ago I synthesized amun_AirTorpedo controller features
(properties) for SH3, but it's not work in SH3, because it's not supported by hard code.
Now (SH4) it's possible, but ... I think, it is made badly ...
The plane (US Torpedo Bomber) well approaches on a point of drop, reduces height and speed, but falling of torpedo in water ... it is awful...

From 10 launches of a torpedo there was only 1 hit ...

Well one in ten is poor
But I dont think every torpedo would have been a hit anyway

The going backwards is indeed a problem, but the hit % isn't bad. I bet vs moving targets the RL hit % was way less than 10%.

I think, 10 % are bad because the ship did not maneuver ...

I had 3 kates make a run on a moving AK. 1 was downed by AAA, one was damaged and dropped (missed), and the 3d was undamaged and hit.

Winder if the AI assumes the target is moving?

I have not noticed ...

Continuation.
The Japanese torpedo bomber drops down torpedos well and we have the big percent of hits (controled by AI).

Why the American torpedo bomber so unusually (strange) drop down torpedos?
It's bug or no?

I don't know what the problem is with the American, but that one looks great!

=O Could this torpedo launching ability be tweaked/adapted/redneck rigged to create torpedo launching AI Subs?

Why AirTorpedo?
You have Torpedoes_US ...
They are identical in essence, but for them different controllers are used.

Do not worry a problem is solved.

Hi, All.
I have solved a problem of wrong drop down of torpedos by US Torpedo Bomber.
It's bug AI Air Torpedo.
Now, US Torpedo Bomber drops torpedos very well and percent of hits is big!
Look separated thread.
:D

P.S.
The reason of bug: Air Torpedo controller do not work properly, if the torpedo is inside of mesh ...
