GWX Question

I haven't played GWX for a very long time. I finished the end of the war using SH3.

Now I am trying to get back into GWX and I tried to get a high view so I could get the planes flying overhead, but could not.

Then after that I tried to get a side view of my sub (normal F12) to move across screen and I cannot get that back.

Can someone please help me out.

Rob

hmm have you selected the GWX option that allows all commands to be done by mouse only?

The keyboard command to be able to view planes is simply cycling through the "previous unit" or "next unit" by using the , (comma) & . (full stop) keys.

F12 is the default Free camera button.

After I had posted this and went to bed, I thought about the comma and period point.

Thanks. I would have thought that most that I knew would be into SHIV by now.

No way Rob. SH3 and GWX have still a lot to offer us in terms of gaming satisfaction. Glad to see you patroling the High Seas once more mate. Keep up the good work

Thanks Mel.
I forgot how much the Kiel Canal was as a pain in the six. My first attempt in getting out, I hit shore and my hull was only 23%. So I took it careful, made many starboard corrections in the way-point, and as doing that, I deleted many way points that were not necessary. It took me from 8 this morning until noon to get out of the canal. :rotfl:

Now, with respect to my movie making using GWX, I'm not sure how I'm going to handle a ship sinking; especially if I'm attacking a convoy.

It's February, 1940 and I have U-6, a VIIB/41 with only 1 flak gun. I don't know how to handle the planes. They probably won't be as easy to take down as in SH3.

Rob

Addition. I can't seem to handle Commander properly. I roll back, make my changes such as my torpedo loadout - all G7a's, but I got both G7a and G7e. Can't figure it out.
