Thanks everyone!!

I have just finished the war, what early March 1945, hmm the war lasted longer than that, O’well must be the game saying that the war will end if I go on another patrol. I finished with 1.8 million tonns, and a total of 7 knight crosses, god guys it was a long haul, 56 missions, and many, many ALL night sessions, luckily I have no wife to hassle me! I figure that it took me the better part of a month to finish the war, bulk saved games and numerous computer crashes, commander tweaking, and heaps of coffee. Might do better next session.

I would like to thank you all for the forum and for answering all my dumb questions. I have sh4 on order, looking forward to that one!

Thanks to all the maths stars on the forum, sorry but a lot of that heavy maths and geometry is a bit hard for my wreaked brain:damn:, but I am working on it, “ My brain that is” LOL
Thanks again to all of you.

The war is over for you my friend. 56 missions is a bit much and if you are not like this:doh: as a result, you are a much stronger captain than I.

BTW, are running the GWX mod?

Yes it is GXW and I had my time in base set to only one day!! Yeah 56 missions was a bit much, but I could have squeezed in more, except I got an itch around my neck that required the XX1 to scratch it!!

Congrats!! I finished up the war last night, but with only 23 patrols.. No total tonnage since plain vanilla doesn't total it all & I didn't manually do it before restarting a career..

Good Hunting!!

Back in '39 & conning a Type II

Now's the time to see what I've learned from my past mistakes!!!

Dang, these type II's are cramped after conning an IXC..

Herr Hans,
A great run Herr Kaleun,
You will be remembered by the Command Staff as one the truly great ones. I imagine that you look a lot like Kapt. Thompson by now. Take some R&R, with lots of alcohol....and be ready for the next patrol...............

Redbear 04-14-07 05:43 PM

Congratulations! Excellent job Herr Kalue!

Now it's back to 1939 and do it all over again!
