AHMMMM Thats due to the VERY complex current modeling thats in SH4. :()1:

Blood_splat 04-11-07 01:51 AM

I thought it was do to some weird electromagnetic anomaly.:rotfl:

Grothesj2 04-11-07 01:52 AM

Strong current!

bookworm_020 04-11-07 02:57 AM

Did she hoist sail???

nattydread 04-11-07 02:58 AM

But even if it is by current, I'd think if your sub and next fish are in the same current your relative movement should still be 0kts and so you should set the target's speed as 0kts in the TDC.

Actually you have kidnapped a german scientist and he has developed jet propulsion to your sub.

How did you bribe him? with sauerkraust und wiener-schnitzels? :rotfl:

This is no german insulting meaned, just got under some "Top Secret" -movie feel...:hmm:

Von Hinten 04-11-07 05:46 AM

Couldn't they be wagging the rudder like crazy like those Italian gondoliers do?

ParaB 04-11-07 07:40 AM

"Loyal servants of the emperor! The bad news is we just lost our propellor. The good news is we're still afloat. Now, man the oars, it's 1700 miles to Tokyo! Banzai!!"

:arrgh!:

AVGWarhawk 04-11-07 08:28 AM

It has the new catapillar propulsion system....see the outer doors there on the side of hull? Very quite and hard to detect....oops, wrong movie;)

Rilder 04-11-07 08:49 AM

"Get Bernard more beans! He's running out of gas!"

SteamWake 04-11-07 11:04 AM

jerryt 04-11-07 11:28 AM

They all hung their laundry out to be used as sails.

John Channing 04-11-07 11:38 AM

But seriously folks...

What kind of ship is it. If it is on the large side it could drift for miles before the drag of the water stops it.

Sort of like stopping a large, fully loaded tanker. That can take up to 10 miles.
