3D modding How?

Im thinking of modifying a Conning tower in SHIV Can someone help me? How do I do it. What do I need?

Yeah, I'd like to get to know how to model myself as well, or atleast modify some of the stock models. Are there any instructions on how to tweak models in the stock game? And as Wilhelm asked, what programs/mod tools would be needed?

You'll need Pack3d all 5 versions,
A 3d program. Lotta people use Wings3d cause it's free.
A LARGE bottle of headache pills,
and LOTS of patience to learn.
There are several sites on the web with tutorials that will help.
