Please don´t use Rapidshare to host your files, many people can´t download from there due to the way Rapidshare works, also they delete files that haven´t been downloaded for 30 days.

Filefront allows files up to 1GB and they don´t automatically delete old files.

MediaFire allows files up 100MB, supports download managers and currently holds files for an unlimited time.

UBRS QuickShare is good for files up to 5MB.

If you wanna make sure that your files are always available for download, upload them to at least two different file sharing services.

Just a quick heads up over Filefront

Since its last maintenance it has taken to queuing files for deletion
Once queued you have 7 days to remove it from the deletion process

So if you keep an FF account check it regulary or you will find your files deleted upon return

http://www.mediafire.com/ is another good one
You can create a free account if you want that will keep all your uploads in one area
I find I can still D\L files months after upload

They send a notification email a week before.

MediaFire looks good, I´ve added it to the first post.

I hate Rs but I had several people request a link from there, in the future I won't use it :D

Just FYI, http://www.sendspace.com/ is another way to store files online (I've used it for a long time now).. And no countdowns, enter-the-magic-code-here, poker popups etc... have fun =)

If you use the internet Heavily, id recommend just getting your own damn doman. Its cheaper then you might think (I pay 10 -12 bucks a month), and the many bennfits are worth it in the long run. The trick is finding a good host.

And we will add mods to the Subsim Downloads section, once they are final versions, zipped, and have a good ReadMe. Just ping me.

I kind of like megaupload, for the way you can handle your files,
and for the quallity they have
been using it for more or less 7 to 8 month and my files are not even deleted
without my direct order to do that...:yep:

I'm up for hosting some of the mods. It's a real pain-in-the-arse to have to deal with some of those downloaders.

edit-- I've started throwing up mods as I come across them and get them installed. I'll leave them up until I have reason to do otherwise (i.e. patch 1.3). My little mod repository
