GWX splash screen
 

Hi all,

I am currently using GWX 1.3 ( brilliant mod...loving it ) but was wondering if it was possible to have the original intro splash screen, so I get the ubi blue thingy instead of the wolf, and the original loading screen with Silent Hunter III in white instead of the Type VII.

The GWX looks good...and I love wolves...but prefer the original. The rest of the mod I love, the red menu screen with real footage is brilliant...and the gazillion changes made to the vanilla game improves it so much...but I just like the officialness ( new word I invented ) of the ubi thingy.

So is it possilbe to swap it back but keeping the rest of the GWX mod intact?

If you still have a stock version of the game just get the INTRO.Tga from C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Menu\Loading and drop it into your GWX install

I still get the GWX wolf though. Do you know where the Ubi blue spinning thingy that plays that little ubi tune would be?

Maybe this would be a nice place to debut my custom splash. Credit for the actual shot goes to Fender74, but I did all the footwork on lining up the loading bar.

Yes you know you can randomise splash screens in SH3commander

There were a few done a while ago

Is the a short guide of how to add them to Commander so they show up randomly?
I have D/L the das boot splash screens and there were already setup to just place straight into Commander.
I have a some that were made by Venatore and and this new one from P-funk and just wanted to add them in as well. Anyone have any ideas?
Sorry if this has been posted before.

Actually I'll go chase down Jaesen and get him to tell me how to do it and then I think I'll just create a silly little thread for my splash and update the readme on filefront.
