[REL] Torpedo Loadout Editor 1.0.1 (Updated)
Hi all,
As you may all know, it's not possible to change torpedo loadouts in single missions. Since sh3 i wanted a tool to make it possible without messing with config files, and 5 days ago i thougth "Heck, I can do that", so here's the first release. It may still have bugs, though it's stable on my system, but there are lots of different setups, and i can't predict what could happen. Here's a screen of the app: http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/6819/progih2.jpg And ingame: http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/3605/ingamerk3.jpg Check the info button to get info on torpedoes and basic usage. Oh and i designed it to be as dynamic as possible. So if a new sub is added, config file changed or whatever, it will adapt to it. And one more thing, from past experience i had, these packed php/winbinder apps can cause false positives on some antivirus apps, so if your antivir starts screaming on installer or main exe please ignore it, i can assure you that this is completely clean. Download Link Comments and suggestions are very welcome :) |
Hey, that looks neat. Well done m8, I'll be giving that a try. Thanks!
[edit - Though unfortunately the link seems down ...] |
walmis your thread is dead:down:
|
sorry, there seems to be a problem with my host.
Here, try this link: http://mpgtext.net/subshare/1Sh4Torp...ditor1.0.0.exe |
Cant install as my Virus Protection says the exe is infected with a trojan and deletes it automatically
|
That could be a False Positive due to the compiler he is using...only guessing but seen that before.
|
ok, ill disable my vp and try again
anyone know what files this program changes.. I remeber a similar app for SH3, but cant emember where the torp loadout are kept.. I want to know so i can back up my original and keep a spare of any edited bersion i am happy with.. |
yeah, that's a false positive, tried scanning it on an online virus scan, and it reported a trojan.
It edits /data/submarine/NSS_*/NSS_*.upc and when it saves, it makes an original backup to NSS_*.upc.bak and notifies you when it does that. |
walmis good job you fixed the thead
 (sitting and eating cake and cup of tea) |
how is it that you can use torpedos from 1946 to 1962
ww2 only went until 1945 |
These numbers are not mine :)
They are read from balao config file |
but this is a ww2 sim
|
Yes, but balao's service time is from 1943 to 1963, this is defined in the config file.
If this bothers you so much, open up NSS_Balao.upc and change the line UnitInterval= 1943-02-04, 1963-07-11 to UnitInterval= 1943-02-04, 1945-02-04 :) |
Thanks for this one m8, comes in pretty handy.
|
Excellent work... Thank's
