This is not really a bug, and there are lots of things that really need fixing more than this, but I would like to see the following in a patch:

1)A better way to enter range into the TDC. If you know the range to track from the map you should be able to easily enter the range into the TDC without having to mess with the target book,etc.

2) the recognition manual, (target book) needs to be more user friendly with tabs for types of ships, etc

3) eliminate the use of the "enter " key for firing torpedos,

4) automatically note the time that a mark is placed on the map. This woudl greatly facilitate target speed calculations

I agree with all of these.
For number 3, I use the red firing button above the torp station to fire all my torpedos.

Same here. And It's too easy to accidentally hit the Enter key when increasing TC. :down:

Our gunners need to be wearing helmets while manning the guns. :o

There are a few threads and even a mod that discuss how to change the "fire torpedo" key to CNTL-ENTER or SHIFT-ENTER. Use one.
