Scope magnification, stadimeter ranging
 

does anyone know what the actual periscope magnification is for low and high power? Also, I cannot read the formula printed in the manual for doing the math to get the range, if anyone can recite it for me I would appreciate it. I would assume one could prepare a chart showing the range for the major ships based on the number of graduations covered on the scope recticle, like we did for SHII? Thanks, Joe S
