Conning tower insignia - GWX
 

I began a career in April 1941 and after my second patrol I added an insignia to my conning tower.... the 2 little black fish. However, they do not show up on the side of my conning tower when I am in a real patrol... nor does any of the other 2 insignias i tried to add. They show up as a small black dot when i am in port looking at my boat in the torpedo loading screen or in patrol in the damage control/crew management screen but when I am on the lower deck by the deck gun or looking via the external camera, they do not show up. Any ideas anyone? Also... is there a new version of GWX coming out? I downloaded my version from GameShadow a couple days ago and I didn't know if there are any new versions or newer downloads/expansions that are worth while. Have you added the 1.03 patch ?

There was a fix for the tower emblems released in 1.02 IIRC
The 1.03 patch contains all previous patches

One question about conning tower emblem and GWX 1.03 - I've just finished first patrol and I have no emblems in "special" folder for choose. Is it correct?

They are still there

OK, but what about "special" section in game? I thought exactly about it.

I thought that you had to complete a few patrols with renown awarded to get your emblems?:hmm: It's never been available to me after the first patrol.:yep:

The emblems should be there at the beginning of your career but it's not adviseable to upgrade anything until you have completed your first patrol :nope:

Yeah, I've always had the option to add an emblem right off the bat, but I don't. I wait until after the first patrol at least.

Usually after that first patrol I put the emblem for my Flotilla on. It isn't until I've sunk more than 50k tons or so that I allow myself the priviledge of adding a personalized emblem.

I've finished first patrol with stock GWX (no emblems at conning tower, but available in "special" section), patched to GWX 1.03 and upgrade uboot (KDB), but I can't see any emblems in "special" section:down: .

I've mentioned this in another thread,not only did my emblems vanish but other stuff did as well:nope:

no personal emblems only flotilla emblems
 

I have noticed a similar thing since GWX 1.03. I use SH3 Commander and in GWX 1.02 the specials folder held all the emblems. Now when I started my second patrol and was outfitting my U-boat. I opened the specials folder and only flotilla emblems were there no personal emblems. I am sailing with the 2nd flotilla so I added the second flotilla emblem. I will try again for a personal emblem when I start my third patrol since I have some good tonnage this patrol.
