Batteries?
 

I read about batterie life on forums somewhere, I thought here but when I search I can not find anything on it.
I am using the first sub starting at Pearl Harbor at and at 2/3 speed I can ony remaine submerged for 5 and a half hours before my batteries die.

I am by no means a naval history buff but this can't be right. How can oxygen even be a factor?

Anyway some people if I remember correctly said they could get at least 12.
Did US subs suck that much in comparison to U boats?

Silent Hunter 3 was a blast to play but this one I'm haveing a hard time getting into.
