Won't load torpedoes and mysterious dead
 

First ,I'm new to this game,but I've always had a fascination with subs and sub movies.The last sub game I played was on a very early game console.

They've come a long way...this game is very cool despite it's bugs and problems.

My problem is ,I can't nor any of my crew WON'T load torpedoes.I saw a thread by some one who had the same problem,but a solution was never posted.

Second...I travel back to a port on the surface,and out of the blue a crew member dies.Why? Is there a way to find the cause of death?

And last ...how do you recruit?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Can anyone hear this transmission!!

Be sure that you're rigged for silent running. Loading torpedos is a noisy business, and your crew won't reload your tubes in silent running conditions.

Not rigged for silent running and I've switched auto load on and off...it's hard to tell when it's activated.Could it be my crew is tired...Why can't I do it?
