The Wahoo in her final version before being sink was all Black. Not the collor you have. Also I dont belive the Battle Flags where painted on the side.

They were not.... you don't have to use the skin if you don't want to :roll:

Im not. But the black paint was some help to make it more historcialy corect. You can keep the Wahoo Indian though. :p

I like that skin. Just a quick question. I read that the early war boats were painted black and around mid 43 painted grey with black from top. Is that maybe lost in translation of my books since you said that actually was vise versa?

No I'm pretty sure that they did in fact change from black later on. Logically speaking black paint beneath light blue or green water is gonna be visible.

Yes. that was they way there where painted. But the USS Wahoo had a all black hull when she was lost.

the file font link for the wahoo skin no longer works is there anywhere else i can download it at or any uss wahoo mod or other wahoo skin i have done a deep search and came up empty any help would really be appreciated thank you in advance

I'm not sure if this one will be the same, but you could try the old Kill Flags version in the Gato boat folder at:

The "SS238 Wahoo..." is about 2/3 of the way down the page. I don't know if it'll have the headdress or not.

thank you very much for your reply sadly it does not have the headdress i am very surprised that the uss wahoo for being a very historic sub that there are not mods that have it in i personally cant find any version of the uss wahoo for sh4

I was figuring that's what you were after... maybe someone will come along that has that particular skin, or maybe they know a link for it. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find that either cdrsubron7 or s7rikeback have it (or both of 'em)...

You are correct, pb. I do have this particular skin. I'll try and find it tonight and upload it in the morning. I don't get home till late tonight from work. :D :up:
