The Crews Have US Marine Corps' Belt Buckles!
I saw a post on the Ubi SH4 site that the crews had USMC belt buckles. I haven't been able to check yet. Has anyone spotted this?

Sounds about right. The awards/medals in SH3 were accurate and well done. Awards in SH4 are corny and nonsensical.
In SH4 the Purple Heart, hardly an rare award such as the CMoH, is drawn incorrectly with a star in the middle of a purple heart instead of a side image of George Washington. A 10 year old kid could have done better. |

The eagle globe and anchor. That's too funny

It's true, it's true! Oh my God!
fullmetaledges,
Thank you, now all is explained--every oddity and programming idiocy. Tell it to the Marines, they'll believe anything.:rotfl: |
who knows where they got the idea to include that, FYI the marine belt buckles are open faced and the one that they used is a novelty one.

i found it last night and posted @ubi ...http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c4...1175033806.jpg

for all the research i know they did, they also made some equally strange decisions. Of course a dev team of romanians will never have the fine eye of detail from someone who saw it daily for a number of years.

and here's the kicker..if you look at it real close..it's the correct emblem for the time .aka split baner on top semper on right and fidelis on the left.....yeah...i wore the eagle globe and anchor for 4 yrs...

 At least this is easy to mod.
This is pretty bad. What was the line of thinking on this? "Navy, Marines...same thing!" Sloppy work! :damn: :stare: |

USN caps are not present on officers. The thing they have looks like "bolshevik" headwear from 1917.

I wonder if the white floppy cap mod from SH-3 will work ? :) |
This is something of a problem when you have European developers working on something like this- they do research but don't get the finer points sometimes.
An example would be having a European developer do a baseball or football (not soccer) game- they would probably do a good job, but miss things that an American developer wouldn't. |
