Yeah, that's really so. They should give any ship's info and not-presice range and bearing information. Range to be +/- 300-500m inaccurate, bearing to be about 20 degree inaccurate and so on.
BTW, even though I said I don't know where to change to kill the range info from WO, on second thought, it's maybe very simple. There is a file which lists all sorts of verbal messages (can't recall the name of the file). Find the sentence of in question, and you can maybe simply cut the part where range info is. It's probably like "range %s" or something where %s is replaced with number in the game in real time (it's my guess, I'm not saying it's %s but it should be something similar). You can't change it to "long/mid/short" etc, most likely, however. |
