Is there a fix for the bad wakes or whatever it is!
After losing the external camera key F11, I discovered it changed to Alt-F11, who knows!:88) The following is a snapshot of the horrid wakes or bilge water pumped out or what ever they are supposed to be:

That's water running off the inner hull - it's actually pretty close to accurate. Just needs to be a little more...ummm...'solid' looking? I mean, it is kinda cheesy looking at the moment, but the concept is right.

Bumping this because it IS a good idea to improve the shader, here - anyone working on this?

Is it possible to import SH3 water textures (and files) to replace those in SH4?

I like the effect but as it's already been mentioned it needs "Toning down" more solid water looking and not like a soap sud factory.....Plus at night its kinda luminous and bright....
But still a step in the right direction for realism... Deep six |
