Flooding? What the.....

Having the best weekend I've had in ages! Missus and kids gone away for the weekend so I settled in for the long haul. Rang for the pizza and plenty of beer in the fridge. I'm sorted. I even took out the surround sound speakers that I'm not allowed to have usually because they look unsightly in the living room. About 9pm I remembered I was under orders to wash the eldest ones uniform for monday so I stuck on the washing machine. An hour later I'm on the surface west of Ireland when this hissing sound starts. Sounds like I'm flooding! I start sending men to damage control while scanning the horizon for enemies. Cant find anything and I'm to get confused. Bloody washing machine in rinse cycle:oops:

I wonder if the speakers aren't allowed out because they cause you to lose touch with reality.;)

Just sort of off topic but I always thought it would be cool if you could have your speakers connected to all the normal sounds and also have a pair of headphones that only hear what the hydrophone hears. Probably can't do it but oh well.

But yea, off topic... ish.:D

Chortle! That's a cracker. Got to admit to having a similar experience when it rained here for the first time in a while on Saturday. Could here the watery hissing noise and no damage or men scrambling to repair leaks. Opened the blinds and lo and behold precipitation!
