Deck gun crew won't fire?
 

I am noticing my deck gun crew will not fire at a nearby target. I have the gun manned, the sea is calm and there is a nice Japanese merchant 1000 or less yards away. I can fire it manually but the crew will not fire it. Fire at will is selected. Anyone else have this problem?

I have similar problem It tells me that weather is rough or something to that extend but i can fire it myself no probs.before last patrol i upgraded my deck gun and now there is no position in interface for crew:down:

Well, close to the same problem. I have the issue with the anti-aircraft guns. Nobody mans the gun though I have that option and the 'fire at 1000 yds' options set.

i found out why. there is a attack target button under the watch menu. when u have a ship selected hit this button and they will attack :rock:

I think you can use your binoculars to look at a ship or plane and then order the crew to fire on it. Crosshair in the binoculars turns red I think.

Hah! I figured out my problem. I had been manually firing the gun and ran it out of ammo. It does work.
