Video Card Setting Question

Is it better to set "Application Controlled" for anti-alaising or set a hard number like 4X or 2XQ. I have a 6800GT.

Same with aniscopic filtering?

Thanks fellas.

well i have an x700 now app controlled works better on some games than others, sometimes it makes the game your playing run very slow other times it makes it a lot better. so it just depends which is better for sh3 i have mine turned on as that works better for me.

In SH3 the only way to get AA and AF is to force it via the driver, so Application Controlled would disable those features.

What Giz said. Application controlled means that it will use whatever you have it set to in the in game options. Since there is no way to set any AA settings in any of the options menus in SH3 the only way to do it is to turn off application controlled and set it to 2x or 4x or whatever you want out of game. If there is no option to set in in any of the menus in game then you have to set it to "a hard number like 4x or 2xQ."
