What is GWX??
 

I keep seeing this, I thought I had EVERY SINGLE mod for SH3, but I keep hearing about GWX..

What did I miss out on? what was so cool about it? What did it change?

It changed EVERYTHING. Its the Sixtinth Chapel of SH3-mods.

On the off-chance that you're not joking, GWX stands for Grey Wolves eXpansion. It's a supermod for SH3 and you really need to look at the SH3 Mods forum, which has a sticky thread explaining everything.

The Grey Wolves Expansion Pack, a Supermod. Which means it changes A LOT! The manual for it is huge. Not to worry though, if you install it you will still play SHIII very close the just the same as you always did. It's major changes are to the graphics and a fair amount of increase in realism. That's the major changes, it really changes a lot under the hood that you might not notice right way, Flotillas, ect, ect, etc.. It's the next best thing to a U-Boot Special Cocktail and Fresh Grown Lettuce!

GWX is the expansion of the biggest and best supermod available for SH3, IMHO.
(currently at version 1.02 and soon to be 1.03)

Don't forget to look at the manual. It's about 300 pages.:D

GWX is an enhancement. There are subtleties within it that you might never come across and some that will smack you in the face, time and time again.

GWX really fleshes out the game and makes it more realistic. Adds great new sounds improved gauges better AI harbor traffic all kinds of good stuff. It basically makes it so you dont need to install any of the other mods. GWX is all you need rolled up into a little neat package. Its what the game should have been\ was meant to be. It also makes julian fries and doubles as a food processor. With GWX girls will find you more intersting. You will no longer need to wear deodorant.

Dunno about girls but here, the sheep bleat more than usual when I say GWX :rotfl:
