Nav Map Query
 

I feel I should know this but am not at all certain and cannot find ref in Manual.
When on Nav map if you click on another ship a circle or 2 circles sometimes with a wedge shape removed behind the ship are drawn round that ship.
What precisely is this supposed to indicate.

In cheat mode - oh sorry "easy mode" :D this shows the baffles of the vessel - i.e. they can't hear you while you're in this area behind the ship (their own prop noise masks your movement).

So, you can crank up the gramophone for few secs :rotfl:
