OT: SH1 and SH4

Kinda off topic, but it has been years and years since I played SH1.... and as I near Japan on my first mainland patrol, it brings back a bunch of memories from that old game of sneaking into ports as I look at that map of Japan and all the fun that I had years ago with the original game...

Anybody else get that feeling? Or is anyone here else that old! lol. :)

I found out after aquiring SH4 that 512 MB minimum memory required is now 1 gig of memory. But no problem, I got MPS's Silent Service II running on all cylinders on my Compaq DeskPro 66M (486) and Silent Hunter I Commanders Edition running smooth as silk on my Compaq DeskPro XL (200Mhz Pent Pro) running Dos 5.

Been playing Sub School, can't get sonar,or radar to work.Up to page 65 of manual, none of the switches in sonar rm. don't turn anything on.I'm living,& learning again.:sunny:Can not get setkeys to work on WoP,even if I point it at Commands.cfg---Someone enlighten me,on how to make changes to Commands.cfg, into Jsgme format. It works! That feeling s indeed there! There is something about SH4 that appeals to me more than was the case when SH3 was released. Sure it got bugs and some features aren't working the way they're supposed to, but this game looks to become a true classic. I'm falling in love. :)
