S-Class strikes again
 

I've restarted my campaign about 5 times now so I finally settled on using an S boat out of manilla. I picked up a ship contact with my sd radar, can't pick up planes mind you. So I plot a course to intercept. One the target is in range I work my manual tdc, identify the first of 2 ships as a heavy cruiser and fire a 3 fish spread. 1 premature detonation 1 miss and 1 direct hit. I make some speed corrections because the target was now at a dead stop and fire four. Moments later a premature detonation. Damn it! So I reload and fire one. Direct hit ship right in the middle and blows her sky high. I'm thinking I'm gonna get some medals for this and I open up my captain log to see how much tonnage I racked up. I miss identified a lowly destroyer 2,000 tons hahahaha :damn: oh well.

S Boats should not be equipped with radar... Also, SD units available that early in the campaign is not historical...

what about sd radar that is better at detecting ships than it is detecting planes. As long as it's in there i had to waste my renown on something.
