Well, you place crew into the damage control slots.. then it automatically places the damaged items into that box on the bottom and that is the repair queue...

i did that and nothing was happening

Pull out your Colt 1911 and start shooting Ensigns?

Its pretty bonked, it will be corrected in the patch... so the notes say

You need to enable the damage control team. Unlike SHIII, when men are in the damage control slots they are just there as is the case for the crew sitting in the AA & deck gun slots.

I am going off memory here as I do not have my copy as yet....

Go to the 2nd last tab, the reports tab (?) and in there on the 2nd line you will see the button to activate/de-activate the damage control team.

I hope this helps.

Minor hijack, though still on DC. Am I right in reading in the manual that your crew, if not skilled enough, can actually fall behind in their duties and cause the sub's condition to deteriorate? I ask because I took an undamaged Sargo down to 60 feet and cruised slow listening for stuff. After a number of minutes, I started noticing the lights flickering repeatedly....then some steam starting intermittenly coming out of some pipes....then joints in pipes started spouting water. Kid you not...it was rather interesting. As this was happening, I started thinking that perhaps my crew sucked so bad that the boat was falling apart around me (only a few days at sea). I ordered PD and went to the DC screen, but didn't see anything wrong....then I got the "sub dead" pop-up. Somewhat surprising. As has been mentioned in the bug list (I think), the crew didn't say a thing during any of this.

I will say that I miss the old VIIC's diving speed from surface to PD...Sargo's a pig. :D

The worse bug so far for me is damage and flooding not being reported... you can dive and think everything is fine.. then look at your command room and see some leaks.. go to your damage control and all hell has broken loose.

:yep: Yeah, it's quite a shocker to step back from the scope and see that your sub has been destroyed. :o
