Problems trying reload Game
 

:cry: I am having a problem trying to reload the game. I have fromatted F drive where the game is stored. I still get Silent Hunter in the add/remove programs which i cannot remove, and every time i try to reinstall i keep on getting the repair, remove screen etc. I tried searching all the drives for anything regarding Silent Hunter left on them and used Registry Mechanic, to no avail.

Any help will be appreciated

Start your machine in 'safe mode' then manually remove the offending file. restart your computer then:

Delete any/all SH3 files from C\MyDocuments
Install a clean version of SH3 in C\Program Files\Ubisoft\SH3
Patch it to 1.4b
Copy the folder and paste it to whatever drive you want.
Rename the folder ‘GWX’.
Now install GWX
Now install GWX (v1.0 whatever)
Create a shortcut to the desktop..
Install the SH3Cmd 2.7 plus the SH3Cfg file
If your going to use multiple installs I’d suggest a separate install of SH3Cmdr for each plus an install of MultiSH3.

Ummmm, choose the REPAIR option. This will put back all the files and leave you with a clean v1.0 copy.

Thanks for your help managed to reload the game using the modify section. For some reason repair would not work:D

If you still have a folder named SilentHunterIII in the Ubi folder I dont think it will repair

As you are sorted it all good anyway
