The constructive criticism thread
To be fair this thread should be established. If you have anything to contribute this will be the place to place it. 'Code' may be usefull for the folks at UbiSoft.

I'm wondering if the game does not support widescreen LCD monitors. What do you think?

Well, currently there is an uproar on the resolution issue. In my view Waste Gate is looking to find a possible answer to the very first major issue that has spurned over 5 pages in another thread. The sticky is a lot of information on a lot of stuff. I find this issue baffling myself. One hopes we find a answer on this issue in a constructive conversation. |

Widescreen wont cure any jaggies, but higher resolutions WILL make them less glaring. They are still there though. SH3 in 1600x1200 with FSAA and AF at full blast look stunning, even by todays standards. SHIV sadly does not. (Yes, I am basing this on screenshots, I dont have the game)
Look at this one, for instance, it looks awful: http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/6...iykyyitgc0.jpg |
I'm kind of in your corner there Stabiz. The screenshots always looked muddled to me and not quite as crisp as SH3. I think widescreen is the issue here on this. Just my thoughts. Then again all screens might have issues. Something just never seemed right with the screenshots.
I do not have the game either. |
