World War Hulk

Will anybody be buying this utterly amazing Marvel Crossover where the Hulk returns from exile on his distant planet to wreak a terrible revenge on them that blasted him off into space?

I am a bit of a comic book fan, so is my older brother, the two of us are pumped for this!

AVGWarhawk 03-17-07 11:16 AM

Hulk was not to interesting but the Spiderman movie:up: I thought they would suck but Spiderman 1 was a great movie!

Linton 03-17-07 06:50 PM

There was me thinking this topic might be about some interesting historic vessel.

Penelope_Grey 03-17-07 06:57 PM

OMG!! There is plenty of history around this place as is!

What a buncha fuddy duddys you all are!:arrgh!: Does anybody tell people what happened during their day? nope.

Does anybody talk about the latest films? No

Does anybody talk about fun nice things. No, its all serious and deep meaningful discussions.

Well, blondes always have more fun, and for that simple reason I am going force people on this board to have more fun when they post and to talk about nice pleasant everyday things. I am going to inflict "girl talk" on this board if it kills me!!

Now, comics are fun. Comics are easy to get into, and are packed with great stories.

The Incredible Hulk is a great and complex character and lately his exile from Earth and imminent return are the stuff of much excitement. There must be some other comic book fans here besides me!?

Hey Penelope,

I have not bought to many comics lately but I do enjoy the movies from them

I was saddened to hear that Captain America either has died or will die very soon.

According to the Publishers, they are going to leave it open for his resurrection to happen at a later date if they decide to bring him back. :o

I'll admit, I hated to see Superman die but I was more upset that they brought him back.

I think Dead is Dead. If the publishers wanted to have another character try to step into the hero's shoes and put on either the old costume or another version of it, that's fine.

The HULK was always a favorite of mine when I was a lot younger. I really did not like the movie version at all. I heard rumor of a possible 2nd HULK movie.

I am still waiting for Wonder Woman. I heard they already Cast Linda Carter as the Amazon Queen to "Pass the torch".

Yeah they are going to be killing Captain America off, not that I mind because he will return sooner or later. Much like most of the great heroes and villains do. The only big comic book character I can think of who has most deserved the "died and stayed dead" award is Peter Parker's ex Gwen Stacy.

The Movie version of the Hulk was really an acquired taste, it was quite complicated and had a lot of psycho drama, the rumour of a 2nd Hulk is true, but, it won't be directed by Ang Lee nor will be a sequel to the first one. It will be its own movie in its own right so I heard.

Wonder Woman was always a favourite of mine, just goes to show girls can be heroic too. She's a powerhouse is WW. I will be going to see her.

It's a shame that when they do decide to film the Wonder Woman movie, we will not be seeing her Invisable Plane

STEED 03-18-07 01:42 PM

Not interested. I collect the Alien comic books but on saying that it's been some time since I bought one.
