Koenigsegg hit back at Bughatti w/ 1018 hp CCXR Biofueled car
I think the 806 HP CCX is still faster than the 1001 Bughatti - it has a higher power to weight ratio than the Bughatti, and better drag co so laws of physics say it will out-do the Veyron in everything. On top of this, it is powered by Biofuel no less! Wow! I guess Biofuel allows for better cooling so it is probably easier to crank up the HP when less heat is generated. -S |

only reason why the veyron is going max 407kmh is because the researchers said no tires on the planet that are rubber that can fit on the veyron exist because the car is going so fast the tire wears out in under 15 min, that doesnt matter since the gas only lasts 12 min, but if they go faster then serious problems could arise, especially with speed, koenig is gonna have the same problem they aint gonna go faster then 407km/h if they do then god bless the smart ba***rds lol :rotfl::arrgh!:
edit* after 450km/h ish the vehicles are going so fast they have to use steel or aluminum alloy wheels like in the rocket cars, AND since aint rubber wheels it aint street legal thus no point in making it, bugatti made veyron so they can have the title of the worlds fastest STREET LEGAL car. no fastest car on the planet because that belongs to some rocket car .... |

The horsepower numbers on the newer sports cars are frankly getting insane. For instance, there's a new version of the Corvette C6 coming out next year that will have a supercharged 6.2L V8, and will get 600-650hp (some insiders say as high as 680). That's more power than the McLaren F1, which once held the title of the world's fastest cars (though this new 'vette probably won't be quite as fast), on a car a fraction the price. There are also rumors that the top model of the 7th gen Corvette will have around 700hp, naturally aspirated. I wonder how long it will be before we see a 1000hp factory Corvette, and when that happens I wonder how powerful the million-dollar supercars of the time will be.

If I am not mistaken, Good Year made tires for the SR-71/YF-12.
They used Aluminium impregnated rubber. If you ever see them, they look grey. I would think Good Year could do the same for these cars if someone approached them. At least to test the cars on the Salt Flats :hmm: |
veyron gas tank lasts for 12 min AT 407km/h and the tires last for 15min at 407km/h
the airplanes have jet engine those tires are like the weight of paper to them, put those on a veyron and it wont go past 300km/h without the tranny or engine dying. corvette and mclaren r different. mclaren had carbon fiber body and chassis.:huh: corvette are still good though they r the really cheap way of getting 600+hp 1000hp corvette:hmm:, ill have to see how the americans build this one, i am a fan of their classic muscle cars like the 1969-1970 dodge charger, 1969 mustang gt500, dodge challenger, barracuda, and the chevelle SS, but the new ones i hate so much they killed the charger name and the mustang gt looks ok but i dont like it, challenger and camaro look ugly. |
