Hi, I paid for mine a month ago (AU $100 at EB) for the collectors edition, I phoned them today & they still insist that it wont be released in Australia till 22nd, anyone heard anything different?:-?:cry:

Only jokin Booky . EBGames are bound to release on a the official date . Besides i tried it with SH3 asking if i could get it a couple of days early . He virtually said that they were at the store but looked at me like i was an idiot for even asking to have it before the release date .

Good luck getting EB Games to send out pre-orders this early. There can be a pretty sizeable fine for breaking street-date, and EB Games takes it very seriously.

When they do break street date, it's either an accident, or with the approval of the District Manager.....which ain't gonna happen (unless it's a VERY HOT title and one of their competitiors in the area breaks the street date....then you *might* get District Manager approval, but it's still unlikely).

As Iv'e read in all the different posts that depending where you live and if
you PreOrder that there are 4 editions available.

1.Standard Edition - sold at stores at realise date.

2.Deluxe Edition - sold as a PreOrder USA.

3.Collectors Edition - sold as a PreOrder ?????

4.Special Collectors Edition - sold as a PreOrder U.K.

Can anybody decisifly clear up this mess. I've talked who preordered when
first availible at Ubi and now don't know which of the first 3 their getting.:doh:

Yeah they moved it forward to next Thursday, so now I have to decide whether to play STALKER or SHIV first. I'm guessing the regular CE box is what all countries are getting along with the regular version, the US CE is for US pre-orders and the super CE is from UBI online.

I've preordered the delux edition from my local EB Games and i also have a cnc3 preorder as well. SH4 is is better. When i preordered Medival 2 Total War i got it as soon as it came in two days ahead of the due date.:smug:

You have to differentiate between the US and Europe.

US:
-Standard game: can be pre-ordered or bought in stores (note that the frst shipment of the Standard game includes some goodies, as soon as that shipment is sold out you can only get the standard game)

Europe:
-Standard game: can be pre-ordered or bought in stores
-Collectors Edition: can be pre-ordered and perhaps bought in stores (the CE includes roughly the same goodies as the first shipment of US standard game)
-Deluxe Edition: Only 3000 copies worldwide and can only bought on the German,French and UK Ubishop.

I hope that clears things up.

I see it too. If that is correct, I'd have to cancel my CE from Amazon UK, but then I won't get a recognition manual. Ahhhh what to do??:hmm:
