Not shipping this Weekend

Hello everyone, below is all the complete information I have on Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific and all the packaging info along with it. Especially of notice is the fact that the US Edition will be released on March 20th. This is a fact that was changed in part due to keep things fair and have it release closer to the EMEA/World wide editions (rather than being more than a week ahead). Hopefully this will clear up any earlier confusion, and keep things straight as the game gets closer and closer to release.

PEOPLE WHO GOT A BEING SHIPPED EMAIL THIS MEANS SH4 will not be on your doorstep this weekend. ie. TODAY and TOMMORW(sunday)

I don't think anybody ever got a "Shipped" email, at least that I know of. I know I didn't. lol

FedEx doesn't ship on weekends anyways unless you have a "Saturday Delivery" shipping option....which I don't think Ubi has anyways in their list if shipping choices (or do they? I only choose Overnight or 2nd Day whenever I order something).

I don't think many really care. I think most of us didn't really expect it until around the 20th, despite what we are told by Ubi. haha

I think people are more confused than anything else. This whole release has seemingly transpired into one big mass of misinformation. lol

I agree. When it eventually arrives at my house, I'll know it's been shipped!!

And the sad thing about this whole mess is all those folks (including stupid me!) who could have supported Neal by ordering through him! I'm sorry Neal - what a foolish thing, to jump on the typical UBI misinformation bandwagon! :damn:

BTW, I hear pre-order sales of SH4 at UBI are through the roof! They should have allowed Neal the chance to get it into our hands a few days prior to the release! I'm sure those numbers would have helped him alot considering all that he has done for the computer subsim community.

my parents are paranoid when it comes to online buying , they say tthe number can easily be stolen then used somewhere else, then they say you might not get what you paid for(they say u buy item A and u get item U -was used as example), so im forced to wait till sh4 comes out for stores, BUT paypal seems to interest them because paypal i can send a set amount of money from my bank account to my paypal account, then i have the amount i need to buy something without it getting stolen. so i might be switching to online buying in the future cuz then i save hundreds of dollars for computer parts.

paypal is a online bank acount in simple terms, i can send money from my bank acount to my paypal account and i only send the amount i need to buy something and i
always buy one thing at a time. ie. day 1 i send 300 $ to my paypal to buy a 1000 watt enermax galaxy power supply. day 2 i send 1400$ to buy 2 8800 gtx video cards( this was 2 month ago build) etc.. i keep goin like that so i make sure i dont get gyped online lol

I think its pretty lame if you ask me. I odered it it 2 months ago so that I would have it two weeks before my 2 week vacation. No it will be April before getting to play with it.

When a company issues a release date it is a date that should be set in stone and not changed 2 weeks out.
