Old War Film Style Graphics

Looking at the new documentary video I see the graphics look very crisp and bright much like SHIII. What were those amazing screenshots that we saw in the style of old War Movies with a dark gritty look?

Was that filter applied just for the screenshots or is that graphic style actually an option in the game?

That is great because I already was thinking that all those cartoon like screenies did not really look like a simulation at all.
