Quick Torp Q
 
I know I read someone the distance needed to prime a torpedo, but can't find it anywhere in my SH manual...

Using GWX 1.02 (incase GWX changed the distance) but I got a gut feeling its 500 or 300meters.

Having said that, just had a TI torp detonate at 329meters, where as the TII I fired alongside it bounced off. Happened on both my salvos ~350meters

Can anyone clarify ranges please?

From what I recall, impact pistols have a priming distance of around 250 to 300 meters, and magnetics take a bit longer.

ah, that might explain it... I always use Impact on the TIs and probably didn't set the TIIs, heh
