SHIV as an electronic download
 

Folks,

I'm sure this has been posted before, so apologies for duplication (in work and cannot spare time to search forums :-? ), but will SHIV be available as a download? I seem to remember that SHIII had a download version...i.e. you were able to buy the game online and download it to your pc, you did not have to actually have to buy the CD.

You dont want to do that. It usually means lots of headaches when you download it a couple of times because of reinstall and you only get a certain amounts of download tickets.

Thanks for the advice but i've been playing EVE-Online for the past 4 months and i downloaded it (500+mb) and both the download and the game have run pretty good.

But you can always burn the downloaded version, or just keep it on your hdd.

Yep, but will SHIV be availabel as a download?

Yes, in fact, Ubisoft is offering it as a DL in the Ubishop Online.

Also, I believe you can pre-load it either now, or very close to the release date.

I would consider downloading it but I really want all the extra goodies in the box. No contest.

Now, if my preorder allows me to download it before all the time it takes shipping to get here, I'd be happy to DL it.
