I dare to argue.

They're ahead of me in math, and yet here I am going on a straight A through to my Master's degree already :p

I don't know about that...4th one looks like diff-calculus....I wouldn't call that an easy...

I'm not real smart on math, but I like to use swing point theroy everytime I go to the store ...

If I spend $5.00 on something I don't need I have to make that up with another $5.00 on something I need, thereby having to work twice as hard to make $10.00 to purchase the item I really needed.

Helps me keep the original $5.00 in my pocket. :yep:

You know swing points ... :know:

JSLTIGER 02-26-07 11:37 PM

I've seen the "find x" and the "expand" ones before but the others are new to me...I especially like the "hangman" one. :rotfl:

Way to go, CCIP! Math is an overrated subject anyway. If only we spent a fraction of the time spent teaching math to students in high school on the social studies, the world would be a better place.:know:

Try designing a launch vehicle, jet engine, or bridge with anything you learn in a Social Studies curriculum.

Eh, eh, let's not put either side down here. Plenty of people are mathematically-inclined - but I'm not one of them and neither are quite a few others. Let everyone have their place shall we ;)

And while we're at it, let's keep a balanced curriculum so we don't end up with people who are illiterate in either math or social sciences. Both are bad variations. For the record, I've always been snappy with basic arithmetic and geometry, but when we got to the more complex algebra/geometry/calculus, I faltered. I did alright with finite, surprisingly, but my heart just wasn't in math after grade 11, or natural sciences for that matter.
