Line-crossing ceremony

Today, September 5th 1943, at 1106 hours U-181 crossed the equator on her way to grid GR51.

The almost appropriate ceremonies were held. Stabsoberbootsmann Ludwig Timm as King Neptune, matrosenstabsobergefreiter Heinrich Schmidt as Davy Jones and matrose Bernard as Amphitrite.

Unfortunately after the schnapps her Highness Amphitrite(Bernard) was keelhauled by the pollywogs.:nope:

Jusa Finn,
Bernard was keelhauled by Shellbacks because a polwog is lower than whale s**t and no Shellback would let them get away with it. Even if it was Bernard...........
