Saw these in the other thread:

- Nice screens but a bit too dark.
- New a/c spotted - Brewster Buffalo.
- I do like those "situation" maps - second shot. Reminds me of one of those - slightly over the top - US wartime movie tone newsreels where the Japanese flag would spread over the Pacific like a big red stain! :yep:

Barkhorn.

I agree the screenshots are alittle dark.... still great though

Looks like the view distance has been dramaticaly increased over SH3

One thing that bothers me is there are crew members standing there having a chat right under yamatos guns before its about to fire :o
As far as i can remember the crew of yamato had to be away from the guns and behind cover to avoid the blast from the 18" guns

Also im kind of worried about the distinct lack of screenshots of any american warships (battleships mainly) Does this mean there wont be any Iowa or Pennsylvania class battleship in game....

There will be 40 American units in SH4 and I think we can safely assume that the BBs will be there.

Wow, SH4 is looking better all the time. The models look bigger than their SH3 counterparts, I guess it's the increased detail, shadow & light effects and the improved water textures. Also, is it me or are the clouds casting shadows on the water? Fantastic stuff, can't wait 'til the 27th of March (UK release date according to Amazon)!

I'm pretty sure I saw a South Dakota class BB in one of those new shots.:yep: Also, the New Mexico class showed up in another shot a long time ago - I'm not sure why though, as this was one of the more obscure classes of US BB.:-?

Still no Anti-Aliasing :-?

We finally have a good screen of the repair section though.

UglyMowgli 02-26-07 03:09 PM

I will ask some screens with AA (if the preview verison we have permit AA).

Which shot? What number?

Barkhorn.

The damage screen looks very interesting, lots and lots of things to fix.

Thanks, that would be great, as it would finally clear up a burning question on this forum.

Sulikate 02-26-07 03:27 PM

Still no FSAA indeed:-?, but the interface looks great, and both lighting and water amazing:up:

stabiz 02-26-07 03:29 PM

I think its very strange we havent seen AA yet.

Boris 02-26-07 03:55 PM

That's why so many are worried
